Favorite Green Juice That Keeps You Energized the Whole Day

Lexi Atkins is a rising star and to answer her everyday tasks she needs a full energy booster.
She just showed up in The Boy Next Door along side with Jennifer Lopez. And she stars in TED 2opposite Amanda Seyfried and Mark Wahlberg. Then her series The messengers start the premieres. We can just imagine how exhausting all this can be. Fortunately, she knows the way to cover her energy. She said that her mother was always interested in juicing, Ayurvedic traditional medicine and a holistic approach.

That’s why, Lexi adapted pretty well to the wellness scene when she came to Los Angeles. She is a regular visitor of Erewhon Natural Foods Market and Café Gratitude. Also, she shows as an ambassador for vegan beauty line Essential Living Foods and Zao Organic Makeup.

Every morning she starts her day with preparing her favorite green juice. She says that turmeric helps her with tiredness and she loves lemon for pH balance. Plus, the cucumber helps for hydration. “After just a few sips from this drink, I’m definitely awake “–she says.

Wake Up Juice Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lemon
1 grapefruit
A few carrots
3-4 stalks of celery
1 large cucumber
1 tsp. of turmeric
A few drops of Stevia

Preparation: Process all the ingredients in a juicer and enjoy!
Green juice promotes alkalinity. This means reduced inflammation so, we’re feeling good and loaded with energy. An acid body makes you tired, depressed, achy. Green juice also helps our body to absorb nutrients from veggies and leafy greens easier than if we chew them. With green juice, all these nutrients are immediately immersed into the bloodstream so we benefit right away.
