It is of great importance to know how to prevent diabetes. One of our principal organs the pancreas function in order to keep the normal blood sugar levels. Therefore, it is essential to regulate the insulin, because certain disorders may transform our organism into a solid ground for diabetes development.
According to one research about 40 000 people are suffering from type-1 diabetes in Switzerland. The main factor for this condition is the loss of the pancreatic beta cells. These cells are responsible for insulin production, the hormone that regulates the sugar usage in our body.
Unfortunately, those beta cells don’t have the ability to regenerate. For a long period, scientists believed that the loss of the pancreatic beta cells is totally irreversible, which is why the diabetics are obligated to take insulin all their lives.
But, there was a research from the University of Geneva, which included diabetic lab mice and it resulted with the theory that pancreatic alpha cells can change into beta cells.
And these cells have started producing insulin instead of glucagon (the hormone responsible for decreasing blood sugar levels). And the second finding from this research was that the pancreas became able to compensate the loss of insulin-producing beta cells.
Different than the alpha cell involvement, this new practice involves delta cells and is shown as more efficient to counteract the loss of beta cells and it leads to a recovery from diabetes.
The conversion of alpha cells affects only a minor part of the population. And the conclusion of all of this is that the pancreas can actually regenerate.
So, here we are presenting a recipe for an effective remedy that has the power to regenerate the pancreas cells and also to prevent diabetes.
• 1 liter water
• 100 gr. of rye meal (the whole wheat grain, along with bran and germ)
Method of Preparation:
In a bigger pot, put the rye meal and the water. Cook the mixture for exactly 1 hour, and don’t let it boil. After that you can add these ingredients:
• 1 tsp of Chia seeds
• 1 tbsp of chopped hazelnuts
• 1 tbsp of chopped banana
• 1 tbsp of chopped walnuts
• ½ tsp of salt
Stir everything well and divide the resulted mixture in three parts.
Consume one part 20 minutes before having breakfast, the second before dinner, and the last part before supper. Follow this every second day, for a 20 day period of time.
Also, while you are on this treatment you should eat moderately, generally food rich in magnesium, manganese and phosphorus.
